Dolores H. Mueller, age 91 of Hersey, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, November 12, 2013. She was born October 24, 1922 in Detroit the daughter of John and Anastasia (Solobodowski) Wyrzykowski. Dolores married Arthur V. Mueller on June 12, 1942 in Florida. They made their home in Detroit where Dolores was an active member of Saint Louis the King Catholic Church belonging to the Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella. Following retirement Arthur and Dolores moved to their home on the Muskegon River in Hersey. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart. Dolores will be remembered as a mother and grandmother that dearly loved her family; she enjoyed spending time with them and played an active role in their lives. Dolores is survived by her three children; Patricia (Ray) Czarnik of Romeo, Pamela (Jim) Jambriska of Rochester Hills, Ken Mueller of Evart; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur V. Mueller on November 22, 2009; three brothers, Casimer, John and Edmund Wyrzykowski and four sisters, Helen Piskorowski, Sister Mary Chrysantha, Irene Graczyk and Virginia Kurczyniec. The family will greet friends Friday, November 15th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 7:30 p.m. that evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart with Father Joe Fix officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at Church. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Reed City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart or R.C.A.M.A. Food Pantry (Reed City Area Ministerial Association).
