Dixie Dianne Weaver, age 58 of Barryton, passed away September 9, 2007 in Grand Rapids. She was born April 18, 1949 in Charlotte to Albert and Nellie (Johnson) Brandon. Dixie graduated from Charlotte High School. On January 17, 1972 she married Raymond Weaver in Charlotte. She enjoyed watching T.V., crocheting when she was able and the company of her friends. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her strong will, being a great homemaker, and always being thoughtful of others. Dixie is survived by her adoring husband of 36 years, Raymond who admired her big heart, four brothers: Vern (Sue) of Sheridan Bob (Carol) Ronald (Carol) and Donald (Donna) Brandon all of Charlotte Four sisters: Virginia (Reggie) Potter Sandra (Billy) Eggleston Mary (John) Myers all of Charlotte and Ruth Lawcock of Battle Creek She has numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends who will miss her. Besides her parents Dixie was preceded in death by a brother Glen. Funeral services will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
