Her Legacy Diane Arlene Sharp, age 71, passed away May 5, 2023. She was born on January 15, 1952 to Richard and Faith (Cooley) Aten. Growing up, Diane was one of six children. She was quite the character. Diane liked animals, especially cats and horses. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing games, canning, gardening, and solving crosswords. Most of all, Diane loved spending time with her cat, Buzz; and shared a love of reading with her daughter, Kelly. She will be remembered for her stubborn, lively, and wild personality. Diane will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family Diane leaves behind her daughter, Kelly (Kari Keilen-Aten); grandchildren, Lincoln and Lucas; grand dog, Jill; and grand cats, Maya and Clark. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Deb (Bill) Rogers. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Aten and Faith (John) Schwartz; daughter, Kerry Jo; and siblings, Barb, Dan, Judy, Tom, and Freddie.

Her Farewell A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Pine Plains Cemetery in Big Rapids.
