Delbert Griffin age 68, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, April 26, 2013 at his home in Morley where he has resided for the last 9 years. He was born on November 9, 1944 in Detroit, MI to Glenn and Elizabeth (Roe) Griffin. Del was raised in the Detroit area and has made his home in various towns in central Michigan since 1984. Del was an over the road trucker and last employed by Greenway Trucking of Wayland. He loved dancing with "the girls" and singing karaoke. Del enjoyed yard work and playing pool. He is survived by the family he loved; three children, Lisa Griffin of Newaygo, James Griffin of Howard City and Brian (Sharica) Griffin of Morley; their mother, Lana Griffin of Morley; his dear friend Paddie Bain of Morley; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; two brothers Robert Griffin and Jackie Lillis; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
