Debra Lee Stockwell, age 60 of Chippewa Lake, passed away on December 1, 2016 at Spectrum Health Big Rapids. She was born on December 16, 1955 in Eaton Rapids the daughter of Oscar R. and Barbara J. (Mitchell) Champod. Debbie married Charles "Jack" Stockwell on May 14, 1983 and they began their journey together. Debbie and Jack lived in Chippewa Lake at the Stockwell homestead. Throughout their lives they looked after each other the best they could. After 33 years together, Jack preceded Debra in death on October 9, 2016.

She is survived by two daughters, Jessie Stockwell and Misty Osborn; one brother Oscar "Bud" (Marlin) Champod; three sisters-in-law, Karen (Lee) Eschenweck of Montrose, Leanne (Bob) Bodbyl of Grand Rapids, Deana (Roger Miller) Stockwell of Cadillac; and many extended family and friends. Debra was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jack Champod and sister-in-law, Sharlene Loll.

Services are being planned for a later date.
