Debra J. Fountain, age 66, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at her home in Big Rapids surrounded by family. She was born April 19, 1955 in Alma, the daughter of Eckle and Dorothy (McCrory) Young.Deb was a member of Eagles Aerie #2535 for over 20 years. She enjoyed volunteering, cooking breakfast in the early mornings and raising money for the club. Deb looked forward to spending time with family and friends, playing cribbage and listening to music. She had a passion for cooking and took joy in watching the Food Network and game shows. Deb loved to be outdoors in the warmer weather. She liked to sit on her front porch drinking coffee, soaking up the sun and bird watching.She will be missed by all who loved her. Deb is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Michael; children, Adam & Amy Schoen; granddaughter, Teagan Underhill; brothers, Dennis (Pamela) Young, Daryl (Faye) Young, Wes Morrison; and many nieces and nephews. Deb was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Doug Young.A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m, on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with visitation one hour prior.
