Deborah Dee Jordan, 55, of Remus passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
She was born on December 8, 1964 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, MI to Rex and Sharron (Baughn) Fountain.
Deb was an avid gardener, who enjoyed canning what she grew, a retired registered nurse, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was strong-willed and hardheaded. Her will to fight was only matched by her strength to battle fifteen years of kidney failure, amongst other diagnosis'. We will miss her Christmas shenanigans, baked goods, and of course, her deviled eggs. Deb absolutely loved to sing karaoke, as well as attending murder mystery dinners. But above all, the love she had for her grandkids surpassed everything.
Deb is survived by her parents, Rex and Sharron Fountain; sister, Lisa (Bill) Parks; son, Joey (Blair) Jordan; daughters, Danielle (Mac) Jordan, Samantha (Kevin) Parks; grandkids, Emma, Lily, Jordan, Austin, Alexis and Bria; adopted son, Brian Smith; adopted daughter, Christy Lee; nephews, Tim (Alanna) Parks, and Garrett (Linda) Parks; the father of her children, Joseph Jordan; as well as her loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Swede.
Private family services have been held.
Memorials contributions may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, 260 Leonard St NW, Ste 2, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
