Dean William Morris, age 88 of Wheatland Township, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 17, 2026. Dean was the son of Emmett and Laura (Searfoss) Morris and was born on April 4, 1938. Dean graduated in 1956 with the last class of Midland High School.

Dean could always be found working on projects, out in his garden growing beautiful flowers and plants, or drinking a good cup of coffee with friends at his favorite local spot. He adored spending time with his great grand kids, and they were the light of his life. Dean was always there to lend a helping hand whether you knew him or not, and he loved to take care of others especially his family. His love and legacy of care will never be forgotten.

Dean is survived by his children, Karyn Morris, Gary Morris, and Robert (Lori) Morris; grandson Josh (Tanya) Morris; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Amelia; his brother's Reverend Ralph (Pat) Morris, and Richard (Mary) Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife Linda (Brown) Morris; daughter Malissa Wells; and brother Marvin Morris.
