Dawn R. Staszkiewicz, age 66, of Rodney, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024. She was born on May 27, 1958, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Harold and Shirley (Hall) Osburn. In 1986, Dawn married her true love, Ted Staszkiewicz, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. She was a devoted member of Chippewa Lake Community Church, where she shared her faith by teaching Sunday School for many years. Dawn had a passion for crafting and painting and found joy in helping anyone in need. Her creativity and generous spirit touched the lives of many. She is survived by her loving husband, Ted Staszkiewicz; her children, Buddy (Shenese) Staszkiewicz and Dawnette Jeter; grandchildren: Chase, Alexis, Brooklyn, and Matt Jr.; siblings: Linda (Gerald), Debra (Larry), Diane (Tim), Darla, Donna, and Darren (Darci); and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Shirley Osburn, and niece Elizabeth Schroeder. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Daggett Funeral Home, Barryton. The family will receive guests from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Dawn will be laid to rest at Chippewa Lake Cemetery. A luncheon will follow. Memorial Contributions may be made according to the Chippewa Lake Community Church Building Fund.
