David Charles Guadalupe Rivera, 59, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024. Born on August 15, 1965, David was the eldest of three sons to Mary Hinkley (Martinez) and the late David Rivera. David proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He had a passion for lifes simple joysspending time outdoors camping, and playing pool. An exceptional cook, David took pride in preparing delicious meals for family gatherings, where his love for his family was always at the forefront. David is survived by his mother, Mary (Daniel) Hinkley of Big Rapids; his children, Jessica Rivera and Steven Rivera, both of Utah; his brother Daniel Rivera of Big Rapids; his beloved grandchildren, Elianna and Adelina Joy Rivera; his nephews Daniel Jr. and Diego Rivera; nieces Rachel, Brianna, and Alisha Rivera; and many other cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, David Rivera, and his brother, Buddy Rivera. In accordance with David's wishes, no services are planned, and cremation has taken place.
