David Paul King, age 57 of Barryton went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Big Rapids following unknown heart complications. He was energetic about God and loved his church and family. David belonged to a family of thirteen and was a true family man. On July 15, 1994 he married Lorrie A. Stevens in Lansing and they made their home there before moving to Barryton in 2015.

Davids love for Michigan State and wonderful bear hugs will not be forgotten by his loving wife of twenty-three years, Lorrie; children, Amanda (Corey Slater) Satterlee-King of Fortville, IN, Matthew (Fianc Nicole Mendez) King of Bath, William Eisele and Sarah King both of Barryton; seven grandchildren; nine siblings, Cathy Vaandering, Bill King, Bob King, Carol King, Susan Marr, Leroy Yahne, Jeanette King, Tammy Yahne and Ron Yahne; and many extended family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight King and Margaret (Lehman) Yahne; two brothers, Doug Robinson, Robert Yahne; and one sister, Margie King Borgman McKeon.

A celebration of Davids life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Lighthouse Free Methodist Church where he was a helpful and cherished member.
