Darrell James Hervey, 64 of Reed City, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born on September 14, 1949 in Trenton, MI to the late James and Violet (Lyell) Hervey. Darrell is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Connie of Reed City; five children, Ken Hervey of Bitely, Lisa (Kevin) Willis of Alpena, Brian (Corinna) Hervey of Copemish, Bethany (Chad) Leiter of Boon, Laura (Nick) Vernon of Brighton (currently residing in Nagoya, Japan); 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Frank (Zahira) Hervey, Norman (Sylvia) Hervey, and Eileen Francis; the dog he adored Roscoe and many nieces, nephews and dear friends that will continue to hold the memories they have close to their hearts. Friends are invited to a memorial to celebrate Darrell's life at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his home 6365 175th, Reed City (Hersey), MI. In true Darrell fashion- dress casual.
