Danny C. Conners, age 70 of Lake, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Mt. Pleasant. Danny was born on August 16, 1946 in Lakeview, and was the youngest child of Arthur and Katherine (Marek) Conners. He married Joyce Olger on April 7, 1970 in Weidman and they made their home and raised their family in Lake (Brinton). Danny was a passionate dairy farmer and enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Joyce and two sons, Steven and Matthew Conners all of Lake; his brother, Richard (Jeannine) Conners of Stanwood; a sister, Katherine Corlew of Croton; and many endeared extended family and friends who will continue to keep the memories they have close to their hearts. Danny was preceded in death by: his parents, siblings, Henry, Lydia DeMott, Dale, Lucille Aris, Martha Smith, Virginia Frantz and Violet Bucholz. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2nd at the funeral home with Pastor Karen Latham officiating.
