Coral Adele Bonham, of Chippewa Lake, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the age of 63. Coral was born on April 11, 1952 in Grant Township, Mecosta County to the late Robert E. and Adele D. (Erdman) Johansen. She graduated in 1970 from Chippewa Hills High School in Remus. On July 26, 1980 she married Charles L. Bonham and they made their home in Chippewa Lake where they raised three boys. Coral taught ceramic classes and loved arts and crafts, especially airbrush painting. She owned and operated, Suits' Us, a salon, ceramics and crafts store, downtown Barryton for numerous years. Coral was a member of the Remus Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Coral was beloved by the family she leaves behind. They include her husband Charlie of Chippewa Lake; three sons, Eldon (Denise) Palmer of Rockford, Travis (Angie) Palmer and Joshua Bonham both of Chippewa Lake; two brothers, Kurt (Glenda) Johansen of Chippewa Lake and Rick Johansen of Barryton; eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In celebration of Coral's life the family will have a luncheon at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Chippewa Lake Community Building (the corner of 105th and 19 Mile Road) in Chippewa Lake.
