Connie L. Metcalf, age 62 of Rodney, passed away Monday, May 21, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 24, 1944 in Lansing to Norton and Virginia (Doan) Blank. Connie is survived by: Her husband, Larry Metcalf of Rodney Daughters: Terry Ann (Todd) Shaw of Lakeview Stephanie Clark of Rodney Heather (Rich) Coby of Howard City Holly Longcor of Rodney Grandchildren: Ramon Holcomb, Taylor Shaw, Terra Shaw, Alexis Clark, Carter Coby, Cierra Coby, Chris Spedowski, one grandchild to arrive in July, Bret Thrush, Sarah Longcor and Jasmine San Miguel. A niece: Missy (Scott) Davis of St. Johns and A nephew: Rick Reynolds of Lansing. Besides her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a sister; Sandra Reynolds. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23rd at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with LaVail Hull officiating.
