Clyde "Allen" Bulmer, 95, of Big Rapids, passed away on December 27, 2025.

Clyde enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and running a sawmill. He loved to travel, especially driving to Florida to escape the Michigan winters, a journey he continued to make on his own well into his early 90s. Above all, Clyde was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. His care, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Clyde is survived by his children, Rene (Rick) Fountain of Big Rapids MI, Roger (Patricia) Bulmer of Indiantown FL and Jane (Mike) Thelen of Cedar Springs MI; grandchildren, Joshua Fountain of Saginaw MI, Amy (Terry) Kailing of Big Rapids MI, Andrew Thelen of Holland MI, Timothy (Katherine Powell) Thelen of Belmont MI and Tyler (Hazel) Bulmer of Indiantown FL; great grandchildren, Austin Kailing, Luke Kailing, Leah Powell, Ava Fountain, Thomas Powell and Jace Kailing; sister, Jean Frost of Rochester Hills MI; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent's Clara (Baumunk) and Roland Bulmer; stepmother Margaret (Hoogerhyde) Bulmer and brother-in-law Kendall Frost.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Big Rapids Amvets Post 1941.
