Claudia May Quick, age 60 of Sears, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 in Reed City. She was born on March 21, 1957 to Rene "Ray" and Avis (Morse) Jackson in Edmore, Michigan. Claudia was one of ten children and was raised in Detroit. She made her way north to the Sears area in the late 70s. Claudia owned and operated Quicks Adult Foster Care for 36 years. She loved helping others and family always came first. Claudia is survived by one daughter Charity Quick (Steve Roys); three grandsons, Jaycob, John and Andruw; siblings, Andrew Jackson of Reed City, Doug (Barb) DeWitt of Houghton Lake, Dave (Ronda) McConnell of Shephard, Raeann Knapp of Mt. Pleasant, Dwayne Jackson, Stanley Jackson, Gordon Jackson and many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Claudia was preceded in death by: her dad Ray Jackson; mother, Avis Whited; sister, Lucelia Patton; brother, Danny Jackson and grand-daughter, Autumn Angel Shaw. Cremation has taken place through the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton and anyone who knew her knows, there will be no services.
