Charlie C. Brenner, age 24 of Howard City, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was born December 23, 1995, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Sandra Brenner and Ira Norman. Charlie graduated from Tri County High School in Howard City, where she was raised. She was known for her smile, happiness, and striving to make others happy. Charlie enjoyed animals and the excitement of playing scratch off lottery tickets. She loved her family and spending time with them and her friends. Charlie is going to be greatly missed. She is survived by her mother Sandra Brenner and step-father Joseph Page; nine siblings, Teddy (Tiffinie) Braun, Tara (Chris) Regal, April (Patrick) Foster, Penny (William) Neese, Sherry (Keith) Scheidel, Doug (Chris) Norman, Warren Hesselink, Todd (Robin) Norman, and Heather (Todd) Norman; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Charlie is also survived by her fianc Junior Shattucks family. Junior passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents William and Violet (Beard) Brenner, and brother Daniel Norman. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. The family is being cared for by the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Homes of Mecosta County.
