Charles Edward (Chuck) Fleming, 84, of Chippewa Lake, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 24, 1940 in Detroit to Charles J. and Ruth (Pry) Fleming. Chuck is survived by his wife of 63 years, Brigitte; their children Patrick (Kathy) Fleming of Hersey, Paula Fleming-Walter of Reed City and Eric (Deidre) Fleming of Rockwall, TX ; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda (Ron) Opszynski; sister-in-law, Renate (Dennis) Hartman; brother in law, Lothar (Jane) Kozitzki and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by an infant son, Chuckie Fleming; his parents; his adopted parents, Kenneth & Lila Olson, his sister, Helen Adams. Chuck retired from Evart Products, he also worked for the Chippewa Lake Fire Department for many years. He loved living on Chippewa Lake and enjoyed fishing and hunting and just being outdoors. He believed God is everywhere and lived his life accordingly. He was a hardworking and caring man who helped others whenever he could. Per Chucks wishes cremation has taken place.
