Cecil Winfield "Win" Land Jr., age 66, of Canadian Lakes passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at his home. He was born October 8, 1939 in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii to Cecil and Florence (Trowbridge) Land Sr. Win had a passion for photography, loved sailing, fishing, golfing, animals and nature. He was also one of the founders of the Ohio Institute of Photography. Win is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Nora Two Children: Christopher Land of Dearborn Katy Land of Plymouth Two Step-Children: Matthew (Dawn) Krumm of Howell Andrea Krumm of Royal Oak Two Grandchildren: Ian and Jarrett Krumm One Brother: Skip (Liz) Coggin of Glencoe, IL and Naples, FL Two Sisters: Barbara Green of Truckee, CA Kit Land (Roy Poczik) of Alameda, CA Six nieces and nephews: Bill Green, Carolyn Westgaard, Sarah Green, Laura Smail, Anne Gray, and Amanda Coggin Win was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 2101 South Hacker Road, Brighton, MI 48114 with Pastor Frank Graves officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to any charitable organization that supports animals and wildlife.
