Cassondra Jean C. "Cassie" Burbank, age 23 of Ionia, passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Sunday, July 26, 2020. She was born July 14, 1997 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Renee Burbank. Cassie was a 2015 graduate of Journey Alternative High School in Scottville.

She met Andrew Bennett Jr. in 2012 and they began dating in 2013 and were engaged to be married. Together they were raising their four children; Carson, Leo, Olivia, and Jase. Cassie loved being a mom and spending time with her babies; they were her world. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she was a Papas girl. From a young age, Cassie had dreams of being a photo journalist. She was gifted her first camera at the age of 8 and grew to become a talented photographer.

Cassie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her fianc, Andrew Bennett Jr. and their four children, Carson, Leo, Olivia, and Jase all of Ionia; mother, Renee Burbank of Baldwin; grandmother, Marsha Burbank of Baldwin; five siblings, Jack Jacob Burbank, Wayne Jr. Eaglen, Rachel Eaglen, Alyssa Eaglen, and David Simmons; one nephew; Andrews father and step-mother, Andrew Sr. (Leah) Bennett; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cassie was preceded in death by her grandfather "Papa" Jack Burbank.
