Carolyn S. Sabo, age 54 of Morley, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at her home. She was born October 3, 1953 in Gaylord to Ralph and Rose (Lozen) Wilkie Sr. Carolyn graduated from Morley Stanwood High School. She married James R. Sabo Jr. on June 28, 1975 in Big Rapids. Together they made their home in Morley for over 20 years, where Carolyn owned and operated a licensed Day Care. Carolyn was a devout and long standing member of the First Baptist Church of Morley. She is survived by her loving family whose members include; Her husband James, Four children, James R. Sabo III of Big Rapids Ryan C. Sabo of Morley Kristi L. Sabo of Morley Matthew T. Sabo of Grand Rapids 2 grandchildren, Alexxis M. and Jordan James R. Sabo IV of Big Rapids 5 brothers, Edward (Judy) Willkie of Blissfield Wendell (Loretta) Wilkie of Saginaw James (Linda) Wilkie of St. Louis, MI Ralph (Janet) Wilkie of Gaylord Douglas (Pam) Wilkie of Wayland 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Summers of Gaylord Twin sister, Marilyn (Gregory) Edgerly of Port St. Lucie, FL Sister-in-law; Sharilyn Wilkie of Missouri And many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Raymond, and a sister Donna. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29th at the First Baptist Church in Morley with Pastor Steve Finn officiating. The family will greet friends at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids on Tuesday (today), May 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley.
