Carolyn Kay Cook age 78, was born March 21, 1943 in Muskegon Michigan to Helen (Eveland) & Lee Thebo, she passed away November 23, 2021 surrounded by her family. She married David Cook on August 15, 1959 and together they made their home in Paris. Carolyn was employed by Ferris State University in food service retiring as a head cook. Anyone who knew Carolyn, knew she lived up to her name. She was as an excellent cook, known for her perfect cinnamon rolls. Carolyn will always be remembered as a beloved grandmother, to more than just her own. She is survived by her children, Rhonda & Bruce VanOeveren, Ruth Anne & George Gilbert, Dava Cook (Carl Lowing), Keith & Becky Cook, Dawn & Scott Orange, Andy Cook, Steven Hansen; her grandchildren, Jill (Josh) Cline, Ryan (Laura) Albright, Amy (Brock) Myers, Corinne Gilbert (George Mason), Eric Gilbert, Christopher (Candy) Wolgamott, Michelle (Brock) Griffin, Monica and Megan Orange, Aaron, Jason and Trevor (Sarah) Fitzgerald. Wyatt, Lukas and Carlie Cook; great-grandchildren, Jamis, Blaine & Easton Cline, Natalee & Kylee Albright, Zack, Logan and Hanna Metcalf, Mia Myers, Sophia, Olivia & Gabriella Mason, Christopher & Heather Wolgamott, Madeline, Moriah & Arianna, Tyler, Avery, Liam, Colin and Arlin Fitzgerald; siblings, Edward (Sally) Thebo, Shirley (Dan) Keith, Barbara (Harvey) Ledger, Lisa Thebo, Linda (Patrick) Judd; brothers-in-law; Robert (Mary), Nathan (Joy), Clinton (Michelle), Vaughn (Molly) Cook; sisters-In-law, Nina Bell, Jody Burns; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband David Cook in 1996, children, David and Henry Cook, grandchildren Cody Cook and David Wolgamott and her parents. A graveside service is being planned to take place at Goodwill Cemetery in the near future.
