Carol Ann Williams, age 57 passed away August 2, 2009 at her home in Blanchard. Following her marriage to Elzie Williams on August 6, 1971 she made her home in Lowell before moving to Blanchard in 1990. Carol was an avid bowler at Blanchard Lanes where she made several friends and was part of the W.B.A. She enjoyed picnics, camping, going to the lake and was quite a pool shark. Anyone that knows Carol knows she was a shopaholic- and it didn't matter if it was at the store or a yard sale. Carol adored her grandchildren, family and friends. She was always very cheerful and had a playful spirit. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and sister. She will be greatly missed by all. Carol is survived by her loving husband Elzie, her mother Ethel Morris and children; Jody (Amanda) Williams and Sheila Williams all of Blanchard. She has one brother Dave (Renee) Veenstra of Belding, 7 grandchildren; Dan, Perry, Anna, Samantha, Ashley, Jacob and Breylan, 3 great-grandchildren; Bailey, Lyla and Daniel, and many nieces, nephews and close friends. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 2 PM-4 PM and 6 PM-8 PM at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Memorial contributions in Carol's name can be directed to the West Michigan Heart Association.
