Carol S. Jones Navarre, age 82 of Barryton, passed away at home Sunday, March 27, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born January 5, 1940 in Brinton the daughter of Martin C. and Nora E. (Forbes) Jones. During her working years, Carol had served as the Sheridan Township Treasurer and drove bus for the Chippewa Hills School District she was a favorite of many students. Carol loved to travel especially to the Upper Peninsula. She enjoyed meals at Williams Caf, fishing and she especially loved the time spent with her grandchildren. Most of all Carol cherished sharing lots of laughs with her family and friends at "The Trailer". She is survived by her children, Kim (George) Flaugher of Brinton, Chris (Gene) Denning of Phoenix, AZ, Dennis (Jennifer) Cummings of Barryton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Clifford Jones and two sisters, Bonnie Hyder and Kay McNeilly. Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
