Carol R. Eckert, age 75 of Sears, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1946, the daughter of Clayton and Evelyn (Werton) Wall. Carol was raised in Monongahela, Pennsylvania until she married the love of her life, Lloyd Eckert of Six Lakes, on August 13, 1966, in Washington, Pennsylvania. Carol enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children in Sears. She and Lloyd attended the Barryton Free Methodist Church together. Carol was a bargain shopper and liked to go to yard sales. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Carol is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lloyd Eckert; four children, Brian (Heather) Eckert, Christopher (Teresa) Eckert, Darren (Linda) Eckert, Angela (Walter) Conley; 18 grandchildren, Jade (Ethan) Honeycutt, Catherine Eckert, Arianna (Devan) Benedict, Heidi (Tyler) Frederick, Eliza (Andrew) Banks, Madison Eckert, Darcie Eckert, Allison Eckert, Sylvia Eckert, Bethannie Eckert, Mikhah Eckert, Faith Eckert, Naomie Eckert, Serene Eckert, Pazlee Eckert, Rosie Vanbennekom, Buffy Vanbennekom, and Daytona VanSpriell; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Wall. Private family services will be held at a later date.
