Carl Franklin Meno, born June 12, 1967, passed away unexpectedly near his home in Big Rapids, Michigan, on October 3rd, 2026, due to ongoing cardiac issues. He was 59 years old. His friend Amy was by his side at the time of his passing.

Carl will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for the meaningful place he held in their lives and for the memories they shared with him. His passing leaves deep sorrow for his family, friends, and all who cared about him.

Carl was a true patriot and loved his country. He worked for much of his adult life as a beekeeper. He learned and came to love working with bees alongside his friend and mentor, Linda Jenkins of Trufant. Mi. His passion for bees was first encouraged by his longtime, brother like friend, Donald Witt.

Carl enjoyed social activities with family and friends, especially his children. They enjoyed going to the movies and dining out. He loved talking about hunting, fishing, gardening, cars, racing, football and had a passion for animals and music. He valued conversation, fellowship, and time spent with those close to him.

Donald and his wife, Darlene, along with family members and friends, later became caregivers for Carl after he learned of his cardiac condition. Their care, support, and kindness were an important part of his life.

Carl attended two Churches in his adult life in the area where he worshiped the Lord and made many friendships. He spoke fondly of his time as a child at Huggard Bible Church in Sand Lake, Michigan, where he attended with his family, met Don, and learned about the Lord.

He is survived by his sister, Cheri and husband Dave Feldpausch of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his son, Matthew Meno of Lansing, Michigan; his daughter, Tiffany Meno; Nephew Bradley Feldpausch, Great niece Ivy, many grandchildren; and his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Carl was preceded in death by his Mother, Betty Meno; his Father, Don Meno; his sister, Candy Johnson, and her husband, Butch Johnson; and his daughter, Emily Meno.

His family and friends will cherish the memories they shared with Carl and will carry his memory with them in the days ahead.
