Camilla Ann Hymel age 85, of Sears passed away at Altercare of Big Rapids on Thursday, September 23, 2010. She was born in Sears, MI on October 19, 1924 to Henry Clay and Tillie (Orn) Cushman. Ann resided in the Sears area the majority of her life moving to Bay City in the mid 1950's and back to Sears in 1975. She retired from Evart Products in 1994. Ann loved animals especially cats. Ann is survived by two sons Allan "Tony" (Sandra) Stiles of Hernando Beach, FL. and Michael "Mike" Hymel of Sears; four stepchildren, Richard (Jan) Hymel of Bay City, Fran Lesniak of Bay City, Sandy (Rod) Troxell of Sacramento, CA. and Sharon Senske of Bay City; one brother, Don (Donna) Cushman of Sears; three grandchildren, Joie (Mark) Evans, Shalane Gibson and Summer Baltierra; eight step-grandchildren, many step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a niece, Cindy Stanley of Barryton who was an active part of her life and her dear cat lovingly known as Fat Cat by family and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Hymel, one son Gary Stiles in 1971 and 5 siblings James Cushman, Norma Sternbeck, Robert Cushman, Wayne Cushman and Helen Ruthruff. Cremation has taken place through the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Memorial contributions in Ann's name can be made to Hospice of Michigan or Altercare of Big Rapids.
