Burnell J. Thompson, age 63 of Big Rapids, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Metron of Big Rapids. He was born November 24, 1949 in Big Rapids, the son of Carmon and Grace (Berghuis) Thompson. Burnell is survived by his children, Angela (Rick) Ososki of Big Rapids and Christopher Thompson of Big Rapids; as well as his four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will take place 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Highland View Cemetery in Big Rapids.
