Bruce T. Beaumont, age 88 of Morley, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his daughters home in Rodney. He was born July 31, 1929 in Lansing, the son of Lester and Hazel (Thompson) Beaumont. Bruce graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1947. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving during the Korean War. Bruce married Roberta Curley on August 22, 1958 and together they raised their family in Morley. He retired from Ferris State University as a custodian. He is survived by his loving daughters, Anita (Chip) Bryden of Crestview, Florida and Renee (Tom) Hatchew of Rodney; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rachel (Jerry), Joyce (Pete), and Judy; many nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Roberta on December 7, 2010, and brother-in-law, Bill. Memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Renee Hatchew, to disburse amongst Bruces favorite charities. Cremation has taken place and there are no services being planned.
