Brent Alan Fountain, 55, of Mecosta passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. He was born in Lakeview on November 21, 1963 to the late Alan C. and Janet "Jan" (Smith) Fountain. Brent was raised in Mecosta and graduated from Chippewa Hills High School and later obtained a degree in hospitality management from Ferris State University. He was caring and fun-loving, loved his children and his dog Carly. Brent enjoyed everything Mickey Mouse as well as hanging out with family and friends. Brent is survived by two children, Sara Fountain of Ohio and Jack Fountain of Indiana; two brothers, Edward Fountain of Mecosta and Jeffrey Fountain of Washington; one niece, Andrea Fountain and her children, Joshua and Amanda; one aunt, Shirley (Duane) Winnie and many cousins and friends. Brent was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Barry Fountain. A life celebration will be held at a later date.
