Billie Jo Briggs, age 52 of Morley, passed away unexpectedly at her home Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was born in Lakeview on June 4, 1970, the daughter of the late Harry Sr. and Roberta (Cottrell) Weimer. Billie Jo married Asa Briggs Jr. on January 4, 2000 and together they made their home in Morley. She worked for Kimberly Clark for many years, Grand Rapids Controls, and currently was employed by Universal Products as a machine operator. Throughout the years, Billie Jo enjoyed reading books along with camping and traveling alongside her husband, Asa. She enjoyed spending time with her children and spending money on her granddaughter, BreAyna. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Asa Briggs of Morley; two children, Aurelia Pettit of Chicago, Illinois and Anthony David Browers of Morley; granddaughter, BreAyna Haynes; five siblings, Rebecca (Steve) Moore of Howard City, Harry Weimer Jr. of Holland, Sandra Weimer of Greenville, Connie Spence of Howard City, and Alfred Weimer Sr. of Grand Rapids; mother-in-law, Bonita Briggs of Rodney; sister-in-law, Christina (Paul) Briggs-Dummer of Rodney; and many nieces and nephews.
