Beverly J. Weeks, age 84 of Morley, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born April 23, 1937 in Stanwood the daughter of Theo and Violet (Stevens) Beemer. Beverly was raised in Lakeview. She married Donald E. Weeks on March 20, 1954 in Cedar Springs and they made their home in Morley. Beverly worked in several area factories, including Gibsons, Wood Archery, Wolverine World Wide and General Motors as an inspector. She finished her working years at Donald E. Weeks Incorporated. Beverly will be remembered for her dry sense of humor, her beautiful gardens and never allowing anyone to leave her home hungry. She loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Diane (Jim) Thomas of Stanwood, Duane (Jamie) Weeks of Stanwood, Darrell Weeks of Morley, Dana (Shawn Scaggs) Myers of Morley; ten grandchildren, Tabetha Weeks, Travis Weeks, Keith (Sylvia) Allen, Ryan (Katie) Allen, Alicia (Alex) Weeks, Devin (Sabrina) Weeks, Tiffini (Collin) Prescott, Katie (Justen) Hatchew, Canon Myers, Waylon Myers; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Geraldine (Terry) Wixon of Sears; three brothers, Bernell (Donna) Beemer of Rogers Heights, Bill (Sharon) Beemer of Evart, Dennis Beemer of Ada and many nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald, a son Donald Lee Weeks (Donnie), a daughter in law Carol Weeks and a granddaughter Shelbie Weeks. Funeral services will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at the Daggett Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor David Bongard officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday, April 2nd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
