Beverly Ellen Brack of Canadian Lakes (age 76) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2015 after battling brain cancer. Beverly was born in Big Rapids in 1938, the daughter of Dorothy and Roy Laser. On February 23, 1957 she married Thurston "Dick" Brack. They celebrated 58 years of marriage. Together they had five children, Philip (Lisa), Susan (James), Ronald (Kathy), Michael (Renee) and Steven. Beverly is also survived by five siblings, Shirley, Venita (James), Kenneth, Gordon and Nancy (Larry) and an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Beverly was a registered nurse and upon retiring, moved to Canadian Lakes in 1992. She was an avid golfer; she also loved to cook, sew, go fishing, gardening and watching the wildlife go through her backyard. To honor Beverly's wishes there will be no memorial service and cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
