Betty C. Middleton, 81, of Remus went to be with our Lord December 31, 2007. She was born in Detroit on December 3, 1926 to Clarence and Lucille (Sorenson) Stanley. Betty moved from the Detroit area in 1978 to Remus where she has lived ever since. Everyone knew Betty as Grandma. She loved Bingo, crocheting and watching her game shows. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her children: Fred (Karen) Wilde of Spring Hills, Fl., Sandy Middleton of Cadillac,Tammy Middleton of Remus, Daughter-in-law Sandra Tacey of Big Rapids,26 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, brother; Donny (Tina) Stanley of Detroit and she will be missed by her dog Baby. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Wayne Tacey, daughters; Joy Lane and Judy Cole, and 5 brothers. Funeral services for Betty will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5th at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
