Betty V. Latoski, age 86, died peacefully Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in Reed City. She was born March 14, 1936 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Russell and Isabelle (Porterfield) Brown. Betty retired from Wolverine Worldwide in 1997 after 25 years. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Betty loved to watch gameshows and feeding the hummingbirds in her yard. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, whether they were good or bad, and she always welcomed a game of Yahtzee. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Neil (Robin) Johnson of Farmington, Lisa (Brian David) Spaugh of Chippewa Lake; brother Donald (Jean) Brown; grandchildren, Eric (Shanon) Johnson, Margaret (Jose Agustin) Johnson, Braydon Spaugh, Bryce Spaugh; great-grandson, Liam, and good friends Ed and Terry Gilmore. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dick Brown, Albert Brown, and Isabel Chambers. A Graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Saline, MI at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022.
