Betty J. Thompson Browers, age 92, died Saturday, August 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 7, 1929 in White Cloud, the daughter of Stanley and Edna (Brawner) Thompson. Betty graduated from White Cloud High School in 1947. She was a proud homemaker who loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid bear killer. She is survived by her children, Linda Browers, Rosanna Browers, Josie (Pat) Arnold, William Browers; siblings, Stanley Thompson Jr., Norita Cooley, Francis (Debbie) Thompson; grandchildren, Renee (Jeff) Mayrand, Jason (Jennifer) Arnold, Richard (Carrie) Meads, Dean (Andrea) Swanson; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Browers; parents; daughter, June Browers; siblings, Martha (Don) Auw, Virginia (Lynn) Smith, and Bernice (Howard) Thumser. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with visitation an hour prior. Pastor Bret Werner officiating.
