Obituary

Mrs. Betty Irene (Sterling) Bosworth of Tubbs Lake passed away at home on Thursday, September 14, 2006, following a short illness. Her children were at her bedside. Besides her parents Betty was prceded in death by her husband Ralph on March 17, 1993. Betty is survived by her son Norman (Julie) Bosworth of St. Mary's, GA, Daughters: Nina Darisse and Jack of Nashua, NH and Mrs. Elwood (Marion) Crawford of Mecosta, MI with whom she lived for many years. Three Loving grandchildren; Tiffany and Kami Bosworth and Michael (Mary) Crawford, one sister Marie Burke of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews. Betty was born in Ayr, Ontario, Canada on February 6, 1921 the daughter of Mary (Clegg) and Walter P. Sterling. She was a lifetime member of the Entre Nous Chapter #298, O.E.S and of the V.F.W Woman's Auxiliary. During World War Two, she worked on airplane manufacturing at Wright-Patterson AFB and later retired from Kroger Co. in 1971. Subsequently she and Ralph moved to Six Lakes, MI where they farmed and raised Polled Herefords. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her name to the V.F.W Woman's Auxiliary or Heartland Hospice of Michigan, 1041 West Main St. Freemont, MI 49412.
