Benjamin R. Snavley, age 33 of Big Rapids, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Rex Street Home in Fremont. He was born June 9, 1985 in Big Rapids, the son of Randall and Karla (Koss) Snavley. Benjamin enjoyed music and being outdoors. He had a gentle and happy spirit that touched many peoples lives. Benjamin loved and was loved by many people; he will be greatly missed. Benjamin is survived by his parents, Randy and Karla Snavley of Big Rapids; sister, Jessica (Luke) Austin of LeRoy; four nieces and nephews, Cooper, Olivia, Ian, and Oliver; paternal grandmother, Gladys Snavley of Stanwood; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Snavley and maternal grandparents, Frank and Joan Koss. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Luke Austin, Benjamins brother-in-law, officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th at the funeral home. Benjamin will be laid to rest at West Cemetery in Big Rapids.
