Benjamin F. Rinkeviczie, 90, of Barryton, MI, died Wednesday, July 16 at the VA Hospital in Saginaw, MI. He was born in Rockford, MI January 15, 1918 and lived for many years in Mt. Clemens while serving in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He worked for a while after his military retirement for the City of Mt. Clemens before moving back to Barryton to continue his passion for farming. He faithfully served as adjutant of his VFW Post for many years and helped with their many activities. He was predeceased by his wife Hilda (Mallast) on February 7, 1992 and daughter Christine Hope. He is survived by his daughter Edith (Milton) Dolinar and son John (Jill) Rinke and grandsons Matthew, Michael and Kevin along with his brother Howard Rinkeviczie. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and great friends. A memorial service will he held at Chapel of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Mecosta, MI July 26 at noon.
