Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Snyder, age 45 of Barryton, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 at her home. She was born on March 5, 1967 in Somerset, PA. Becky married James R. Snyder on April 18, 1985 in Detroit, Michigan moving to the Barryton area in the mid 1990's. Becky lived her life as a full time stay at home mom for the last 20 years. She loved being outside and spending time with her husband and kids any chance she had. In the summer she could be found camping, tubing or tending to her pool and was always on the lawn mower. Becky enjoyed bowling, collecting Coca-Cola items and her cats. Everyone knew her for her red hair and her attitude. All the kids called her "Aunt Becky" since she watched them all and her most recent name became Nana. Becky is survived by: her husband James of Barryton, Mother, Linda Swope of Pahrump, NV, beloved children; James Snyder Jr. of Barryton and Jessica Snyder of Reed City, two grandchildren who couldn't love anyone else as much as they did their Nana, Carlee Flowers and Riley Snyder, two brothers; Franklin and Jeff Swope, one sister Christina (Jason) Flowery and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
