Barbara L. "Jehnzen" Trudeau, age 68 of Rodney, passed away Monday, November 10, 2008. She was born October 4, 1940 in Remus the daughter of Leonard and Jeanice (Thomas) Worthy. Barbara graduated from Remus High School and married in 1959. She made her home in Rodney and worked for Wolverine World Wide until her retirement. Barbara also worked at the AmVets Post #1941 in Big Rapids. When she wasn't working or taking care of her family Barbara liked to have fun; she enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of several bowling leagues. She is survived by her 4 children, Robin (Marc) Smith of Baldwin, Wayne Jehnzen of Rodney, Eric Jehnzen of Tampa, FL, Leonard Jehnzen of Rodney, 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Jack (Jodi) Worthy of Gladwin, Phillip (Lenita) Worthy of Chippewa Lake and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Boone in 2000, husband, Edward Trudeau and a sister Phyllis Grove. Memorial services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Mike Riegler officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services on Friday. Memorials in Barbara's name may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
