Barbara L. Groh, age 64 passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. She was born October 20, 1944 in Detroit, to Judson and Bernice (Apsey) Groat. On December 17, 1966 she married Edmound "E.J." Groh in Port Huron. They made their home in Melvin, MI where they raised their family until moving to Lake in 1980. Barb enjoyed gardening and crocheting when she was younger and even though she liked her soaps and westerns- nothing compaired to wrestling (WWF). Barb is survived by her loving husband of 42 years E.J. of Lake and the family she loved spending time with; two sons, Danny (Mishelle) Steinmann of Caro, Ronald (Dianna) Groh of Weidman Two daughters, Cindy (Scott) Tatman of Mayville, Ronda Andress of St. Ignes, Nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters and several nieces, nephews and inlaws. Besides her parents Barb was preceded in death by one brother Johnny and a daughter Renee Groh. Funeral services for Barb will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place at North Brinton Cemetery in Lake. The family will also greet friends on Sunday, from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Barb's name can be made to Hospice of Central Michigan.
