Austin Tyler Bennett, age 19 of Morley, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 26, 2021. He was born March 4, 2002 to Christopher and Nancy (Pryslek) Bennett in Grand Rapids. Austin grew up in Morley, graduating from Morley Stanwood High School in 2020. During high school Austin excelled in sports; he played football but his passion was track and field. Always a go-getter, Austin had built his own successful lawn care and landscaping business naming it "Lawn Bros". He loved everything about the outdoors; skiing, hunting, fishing, boating, and swimming. Austin also enjoyed photography and videography using his talents producing projects for his high school. He was a productive member of the Makers Group in Lakeview. To prepare for his next adventure in life Austin had been serving drill weekends with the Army National Guard and was scheduled to enter basic training on June 30th.He will be forever missed by his beloved family including his parents, Christopher and Nancy Bennett of Morley; his four siblings Jessica Bennett of Grand Rapids, Jacob Bennett of Kansas City, MO, Shawna Bennett of Grand Rapids and Trisha Bennett of Morley; grandparents, Keith (Deb) Bennett of Croton, Kathleen Stevenson of School Section Lake; great-grand parents Larry and Kathleen Madole of Houston, TX; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew.Austin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Frances Pryslek and his great-aunt Elaine.A Celebration of Austins Life will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2nd at the Northland United Methodist Church in Stanwood. Additionally, on Friday everyone is invited to a food-get-together at 3:00 p.m. at the Morley American Legion.
