Arlene Mae Mobley, 79 of Evart, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Cadillac. She was born on May 8, 1937 the daughter of Glen and Ida (Falls) Myers. Arlene married Roger M. "Mike" Mobley on September 5, 1959 and they made their home in Flint where they raised their family. Roger preceded her in death in 1986. Arlene moved to Evart to be closer to her family in 1995. She sold Avon for numerous years, was an avid flower gardener, embroiderer, and didnt believe in people going away from the table hungry. Arlene always made sure the family was safe and comfortable. Arlene is survived by two children, Valerie (Ken Bolton) Johnson of Chase and Douglas (Beverly) Mobley of Cadillac; three grandchildren, R.J. (Chelsea Goodman) Lintemuth, Tia (Calvin) Tacey and Brandon Mobley; three siblings, Roland "Rod" Myers, Sharon Rodgers and Florence (Paul) Ockert; one sister-in-law Alice Myers and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Ida; husband Roger; siblings, Milton (Esther) Myers, Gertrude (Oscar) Woodbury, Bernard Myers, Zinc (Dalton) Shook, Lennie (Fay) Myers, Archie Myers, Carl (Gladys) Myers; brother-in-law, Bill Rodgers and sister-in-law Judy Myers. In lieu of flowers plants or terrariums are preferred. Those wishing to give memorial contributions in Arlenes name may do so to the Alzheimers Association. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7th at the Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Lippert officiating. Interment will be at Sylvan Township Cemetery.
