Anthony E. "Tony" Marzette, age 37 of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was born May 16, 1979 in Pueblo, Colorado, the son of Bural and Barbara (LaFay) Marzette. Anthony graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1997. He enlisted in the United States Air Force serving three tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. At the end of Anthonys military career he ranked as a Master Sergeant working as an Electronic Warfare Technician. He was currently employed with Launch Avionics. Tonys passion was music; he wrote music and enjoyed making beats. He is survived by five children, Kira Marzette of Wyoming, Michigan, Anthony "AJ" Marzette Jr. of Evart, Dominic Marzette of Pensacola, Florida, Amya and Kadin Marzette both of Germany; parents, Bural Marzette of Las Vegas, Nevada and Barbara Marzette-LaFay of Lansing; brother, Chris LaFay of Lansing; two nieces, Shyann and Chrysta LaFay; and a nephew, Taylor LaFay. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Reverend Rebecca Morrison officiating. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the funeral (from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) Saturday at the funeral home.
