Anna Maria Vincent, spouse of former Deputy Sheriff Joel Vincent, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at West Branch Manor in West Branch, Michigan. Anna passed away peacefully from natural causes. She was born in the German city of Furth on December 21, 1930 to Max and Maria Hofmann. Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband Joel Vincent of 49 Years. In 1956 she wed Joel going on to have three children, Brigitte Nowell of Nevada, Alan Vincent Sr., and Dennis Vincent, both of Barryton. Anna is survived by eight grandchildren, Alan Joe Vincent Jr., Rachel Ann Martinez, Robert Vincent, Anna Skaggs, Megan Vincent, Jacob Vincent, Alan Joel Vincent, and Brenda Nowell. Anna also has ten great-grandchildren. Anna liked Michigan because it reminded her of Germany with the four seasons and lots of the same native birds, the robin being her favorite. Anna loved her ceramic classes in the 1970s. She appreciated the freedoms of this great country and was proud of the military service of her husband and sons. Anna always insisted on flying the stars and stripes on the front lawn in honor of all the service members. Anna was a fun and interesting person and will be missed by all.
