SCHMIDT, Anita, 46, loving mother and wife, passed away on December 24, 2009. She was born on June 18, 1963 in Cadillac, MI. Making Apollo Beach, Fl. her home in 1986, she worked for McRoberts Sales Co. Inc and was Secretary/Treasurer of the corporation. She is survived by her husband Jerry R. Schmidt; daughter Kayla; mother Yvonne Thayer; brother Tim Covert as well as many other family members and friends. Funeral services for Anita will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton, MI with the family greeting friends two hours prior from 12:00 (noon) until 2 p.m. Interment will follow at East Fork Cemetery, "her heaven on Earth" . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kayla Schmidt Scholarship Fund, C/O Sun Trust Bank, Ruskin, FL.
