Andrew L. Patrias age 76 of Barryton, left to be with the Lord, December 25, 2006after a long battle with heart disease. He was born January 1, 1930 in Dearborn to Lawrence and Christina (Lagner) Patrias. Andrew was a quiet man with a masters hand in creativity. His talents were profound and he could beautify almost any object. He was a master in landscaping and known locally by his Mediterranean gardens. His talents in water color paintings, pastel chalk art, wood working and metal art will continue to keep his memory alive to all that possess his craftsmanship. Andrew leaves behind six children: Patrice A. Patrias and Matthew, Andrew L. and Ann Patrias Jr., Martin C. and Sheila Patrias, Lisa E. and Brian Nordland, Cynthia M. Patrias and Mark Hugard and Jennifer C. and Chris Benedict. Grandchildren: Zurie, Akeenya and Frank Brooks, Daniel Patrias, Stepehen, Sarah and David Patrias, Aaron and Christa Nordland, Alexis, Devan and Cayden Benedict, three great-grandchildren: Jada, Theron and Daniel Jr., Ten brothers and sisters: Lillian Walla, Clarence Patrias, Marcelline (Kumor), LaVerne (Ilene) Patrias, Dolores (Jim) Chipponeri, Stanley (Patricia) Patrias, Frances (Sharon) Patrias, Angeline Peecher, Carl (Nancy) Patrias and Geannie (Jim) Barrett and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings; Theophial Patrias, Eleanor Opoka, Ervin Patrias and Theresa Bellottie. Cremation has taken placeand a memorial service will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2006 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
