Andrew "Andy" Feldpausch, 89, of Rodney passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Margaret's Meadows in Remus, with his loving family at his side. Andrew was born October 16, 1930 in Grand Ledge to Anthony and Elizabeth (Lang) Feldpausch. He grew up in Eagle Township, where he graduated from Portland High School in 1949. Andy went on to work at General Motors in Lansing, until his retirement, thirty years later. While employed at GM, he served four years in the Army in Aschaffenburg, Germany. While on furlough, December 29, 1951, he married Rosetta "Rosie" Parsons. Upon retirement Andy and Rosie made their home in Rodney. Andy loved farming, fishing and drinking beer. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rosie; three sisters, Erma Chamberlin of Barryton, Leone Elston of IN, and Mary Ellen Walliezek of Woodland and several nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, and six brothers, Paul, Dean, Roman, Robert, Theodore and Frank. A graveside service will be held this Spring at the Martiny Township Cemetery in Rodney.
